I started Thai Kickboxing a little over 2 months ago at Seattle Tae Kwan Do and I love it. Master Richards is always hyped up and motivating which I like cause it pushes me to try to go beyond my limits. I also like that the higher belt ranked students are always helpful with technique and motivation too.

This martial arts school is a rare find! Its a Small business around for years that truely wants your child to succeed and be in every aspect if life. They treat your family like you're part of their family immediately, from the moment you walk in. They have strong values such as respect and patients that stretch to their teaching in class.

They've got classes for the whole family too! Kick boxing is a fun and non intimidating class with a group of "average" people, not a bunch of gym "lunks" would make a fun and healthy date night for mom and dad!

Overall its one of the best environments to put your whole family in. Come here FIRST!

This is such a wonderful place! My nephew has joined the kick boxing class and he is doing amazing, he just got his yellow belt! :) It is such a joy to see him blossom and grow, feeling more secure in himself. I have to give a huge Thank You to our cousin for bringing us here and introducing us to Master Richards and also, a huge Thank You to Master Richards for reaching out to my nephew, building him up and encouraging him. Who knows, one of these days I might be able to join in the fun. lol

Wow. What an amazing school. Every moment I was enrolled here I felt as if I was apart of a family and still do. Grand master Richards is a great man. Very involved in the community. I love this school. My current masters are old students of master Richards and this school. If I was looking for a school to enroll in that was with in a 30 mile radius. This is my first and only choice

FAQs

Can kids learn all the same things in a virtual class they do in an in-person class?

Virtual martial arts classes offer most of the same training that kids get in person, but there are some elements that change out of necessity. For example, students can’t spar with one another in a virtual class.

Do my kids need any special equipment to take virtual martial arts classes?

They’ll need comfortable, loose clothing. If they already have a uniform from a regular class, they can wear that, but shorts and a tee-shirt will work just as well. It may be helpful to put a mat down to offer a bit of protection.

Are virtual martial arts classes safe?

Yes, although it’s a good idea to have somebody supervising your kids while they take the class. Our instructors are experienced and skilled, and our virtual curriculum is designed to be easy to follow and to emphasize safety.

Will a virtual martial arts class give my child a good workout?

Yes, they’ll work hard during class. We’ll also encourage kids to practice between classes to improve their skills. Even on days when they don’t have a class, they can hit the mat.

Can my child still earn new stripes and belts in a virtual martial arts class?

Yes, we still allow for testing. It’s important for kids to feel that they’re making progress and they can do that at home with help from our instructors.
